Beech Hill Primary
Beech Hill Primary School is a school graded Outstanding by Ofsted for children aged 3-11. We are a two form entry school led by our Executive Headteacher Dame Nicola Nelson and our Head of School Mrs Jess Eatock in the West Denton area of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
At Beech Hill, our motto is “Where Knowledge Grows”. The children at Beech Hill can expect to learn in an ordered, attractive, friendly and stimulating environment. They are respected for their personal qualities, valued for their achievements, and acknowledged for their individual needs. Children are encouraged to become confident, enthusiastic, self motivated and independent learners. Children have well planned, organised and balanced learning opportunities in which high standards are encouraged. Also, children are expected to keep the school rules, wear our uniform, show understanding and respect for others and be a worthwhile member of the school community.
We have a daily Breakfast Club, a range of after school clubs and we have our Kangaroo Club, which is an after school provision that is especially helpful for working families.
We pride ourselves on our links with parents and the wider local community. We work closely with parents and carers to foster caring attitudes and mutual respect, and to develop skills which will benefit the children. We work with members of the local community to create opportunities for our children to learn and develop.
